Kansas City, MO. Kansas City, Mo. – Kansas City Life Insurance Company (the “Company”) announce that Howard E. Cohen has resigned from the Board of Directors and Audit Committee effective November 1, 2024, following the publication of the Company’s third quarter financial statements.
President, CEO and Vice Chairman of the Board Walter E. “Web” Bixby thanked Mr. Cohen for his service to the Company. “Mr. Cohen was a valuable resource for the Company and he will be missed.”
Under the Company’s bylaws, the Board will appoint a new director to serve the duration of Mr. Cohen’s unexpired term.
