QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in accounting or reinsurance
- At least 2 Years of Insurance Industry experience required including some or all of the following: Group Administration experience, Accounting/Audit background, Group products knowledge, Reinsurance administrative reporting
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Exceptionally self motivated
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Access
- Must be able to meet specified deadlines
- TAI experience preferred
- Working knowledge of life insurance products preferred
- Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Compile reports and remit accurate reinsurance premiums monthly. Research discrepancies and pursue available reinsurance reimbursements. Assure correct accounting treatment including SOX controls and support for state and federal reporting.
- Coordinate the initial set-up of accounting and reporting, audit and reconcile financial records and bank transfers for off-site third party marketing partners for all lines of business
- Produce management reports and provide analysis related to reinsurance experience and other reporting as needed
- Document and maintain written procedures and processes related to all Group reinsurance, third party accounting, reporting and audit functions
- Support individual reinsurance by analyzing changes in coverage and corresponding changes on TAI administrative system to reflect correct coverage is reported and paid for. Must know how changes in base coverage affect the risk of reinsurance and determine the correct procedures to make on the reinsured risk as well as the change in premium. Analyze the retention of reinsurance of each life to maintain the correct corporate retention limit
