QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree specializing in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Master's Degree preferred.
- 10 or more years of progressive information technology experience and 5 or more years in an Information Security Leadership role.
- Experience leading an organizational security awareness program.
- Proficiency performing business evaluations of cybersecurity risk
- Skilled in developing and implementing organizational information security strategies, policies, and procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of principles, technologies, and best practices related to cybersecurity and networking.
- Ability to understand highly complex environments, concepts, or problems from the business perspective to effectively guide the development of requirements and solutions.
- Experience evaluating, selecting, and leading implementation and alignment of security solutions across the organization.
- Working knowledge of multiple system delivery methods and technology stacks, such as private/public cloud, orchestration, and containerization.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated understanding of technology.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategic Vision: Develop and execute a comprehensive information security strategy that aligns with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Defense-in-Depth: Develop system-wide layered defense-in-depth information security strategy plans and roadmaps based on sound enterprise architecture practices
- Risk Management: Translate business objectives and risk management strategies into specific security processes enabled by security technologies and services
- Incident Response: Lead incident response and manage the investigation and resolution of security incidents, including data breaches, cyberattacks, and unauthorized access.
- Compliance: Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
- Team Leadership: Enhances security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.
- Communication: Prepare and deliver clear and concise security reports, presentations, and recommendations to executive leadership
- Coordinate the design and implementation of network topology and associated security controls.
