QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- B.S. or B.A. degree in Accounting or related business degree. Master’s degree preferred
- At least 3 years of related experience
- Extensive verbal and written communication skills
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated understanding of technology
- Strong analytical, conceptual and financial analysis skills and familiarity with financial modeling and ROI calculations and methodologies
- Knowledge of project management methodology and experience with defined project management approaches
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT trends, methods and applications in order to support business process improvements
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver against financial and resource constraints
- Exceptional problem solving skills
- Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform balanced insurance accounting operational entries
- Responsible for reviewing, completing and assisting with account reconciliations for insurance operations and associated journal entries.
- Responsible for understanding the operations portions of insurance including applications, claims and associated accounting.
- Implement project standards related to requirements documents, status reporting, project plan development and resource planning.
- Manage multiple projects.
- Advocate for business improvement by leveraging technology and improving the KCL architecture.
- Work with users and IT associates to identify key project goals and requirements.
- Direct and Coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
- Communicate and translate required business process capabilities and outcomes effectively between business process areas and IT.
