DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To hire, train and develop, execute and coordinate all activities in the territory to drive profitable growth in the territory while reaching the goals as assigned by the Director Life Sales. This includes but is not limited to group meetings, agency development meetings, one on one meeting to promote Life solutions with those that have contracted with the life company to produce life premium.
- Contribute to the building of a successful partnership with the PC sales team assigned to your territory, Internal Life Sales, and other departments in the life company by working closely to meet the needs of the field and by developing and implementing programs aimed at increasing marketing and sales success. Gather field input relating to competitor information or challenges the field may be having and make recommendations regarding the development of new products, processes and enhancements of existing products and programs that assist in driving success.
- Ensure the territory’s profitability by; ensuring the territory budget, quality of business, and sales plan targets are achieved by educating agents in assigned territory on products, sales ideas, corporate underwriting guidelines and monitoring their use, as well as keeping high levels of customer service at the direction of the Director Life Sales.
- Mentor and train agents, your internal sales partner and fellow associates as to the use of various products, sales concepts, and programs that help achieve the overall sales goals of the company.
- Monitor and communicate agent feedback from the territory as well as agent satisfaction levels in key areas, including EODB, policyholder service, products and compensation and report these to the sales Director.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director Life Sales.
